Every day I look at the world from my window

Long time no see! In my defense I moved home in August, so I think I can be excused. I'm still not sure how I feel about it or how long I'll stay, but I'm trying to make the most of the space I've created for myself despite the difficulties and thought I'd share a peek of how I've got everything set up.

This is my favourite little area. My trinket shelves have remained the same for years, but everything on them has been in storage since I left for Korea so it felt wonderful to be reunited with all of my most precious items again. The Billy bookshelf is new and I love finally having the space to spread out my books.

So many things are from my travels, and because so much has been in storage for so long I can't tell you how happy it makes me to see everything together. The 'Peanuts Discovering Kyoto' image is actually a plastic carrier bag that I framed like a print. I don't have much use for my Rilakkuma humidifier (the yellow ball) in the UK, but it served me well throughout Japan's dry winter and seeing it sparks so many memories.

As an illustrator my desk is super important to me! I have zero need for a dining table so I sent up that end of the living space as an office instead.

I love how cosy it feels at night time with the curtains pulled. I'm not a 'big light' person, I'd rather use 1000 lamps.

And a little peek into my bedroom and dressing room. I am so chuffed to have a little room I can turn into a dressing room, such a dream!
